Tissue Paper Flowers
1. You can use tissue
or crepe paper for this
activity, and will need a
pipe cleaners and scissors.
2. Start by selecting 6
sheets approx 20 x 30cm
(if you start off with large
sheets of tissue, just
quarter them)
3. Paperclip them together
on one short edge.
4. Fold over approx 2.5cm
on one short edge. Turn the
sheets over and fold again.
Repeat this process until
the whole sheet is folded
into a concertina fan.
5. To make the stem use a pipe
cleaner to fold over the folded
tissue with the edge that you
want to be the centre of the
flower on the fold, and where
you twist the end to the stem
will be the back of the flower.
6. Shape each end of the
concertina fan into a petal
or leaf shape.
