WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY?
Fees are charged a month in advance and need to be paid by
the 10th of the month. You will receive your bill via email on the
25th of each month, so for example you would receive your bill
for February fees on January 25th and would need to pay it by
10th February. This is inclusive of voucher payments.
There is a Late Payment Charge of £45.00 for any outstanding
fees received after the 10th of the bill’s month.
Payment of bills can be made by bank transfer
(Sort Code: 30-95-72 Account: 31085868), by cheque and
with childcare vouchers.
CHANGE OF SESSIONS/NOTICE
If you wish to change your sessions or give notice, we require
a 4 week notice period for non-funded spaces and an 8 week
notice period for children receiving funding. Notice must be
received in writing.
For the existing universal 15 hour entitlement, we will contact
you prior to your entitlement date and ask you to complete and
sign an EYF headcount form detailing the hours that your child
attends Berkhampstead Day Nursery and any hours spent at other
childcare settings. If you wish to claim for the extended funding, you
will need to provide us with your eligibility code so that we may
claim the funding on your behalf.
•All funded hours will be spread over 50 weeks of the year for example if you child is entitled to 30 hours per week, this
will be spread across 50 weeks, totalling 22.8 hours funding per
week (1140 hours per year). Our policy is to allocate EYF by
averaging which means, if you are entitled to 15 hours funding,
we will apply 11.4 hours per week over 50 weeks (570 hours
annually) to make the bills more consistent over the year.
