REACTACORE POLE RANGE
REACTACORE POLES
INCORPORATE:
The introduction of Quad carbon technology and Maximus
Wrap are just two of the cutting-edge advances that make the
Reactacore poles the very best of the best! There are seven
models to choose from, ranging from the very affordable XQ-1
margin model up to the flagship XZ65-3 world-beater.
This family of poles is an advancement on the original Shock Core
Fusion range and the later Nano-Core “-2” range. Both of these
predecessors earned an excellent reputation, with accolades
galore adorned. The Reactacore poles are built on compatible
mandrels, so all kits and sections will fit the older ranges, yet they
have a lot of features that are never before seen.
In designing this range, we
employed the assistance of ‘Match
This’ winner Rob Wootton, who
had also been responsible for the
initial Shock Core Fusion range
development. We have also again
worked with match ace Lee Thornton, who had been heavily
involved with the previous Nano-Core range.
Many previous features such as the DNS distance numbering
system have been retained, but innovations such as Maximus
Wrap that allows the poles to be longer and lighter have been
introduced. There are now depth-markers on the kits at the main
catching zones, as well as Ultra-Control kits on the higher priced
models that have been demanded by both Rob and Lee.
You have to see these features and pick-up a Reactacore pole to
appreciate all the work that has gone into them, especially the
very clever Adaptive-Q section… check them out at leading Middy
stockists.
We are proud to have developed unique four-layer Quad
carbon technology. Each layer is precision-placed over
each other at specific angles to achieve a fast response
action and superb rigidity.
Maximus Wrap further strengthens the joints,
reduces wear and allows the joints to overlap slightly
less, making the Reactacore poles longer than their
predecessors. We have retained total compatibility on
all kits and sections with previous models.
Allows depth to be accurately checked in the critical 1ft
to 3ft catching zone.
Ensures the back-bone of the pole can be lined-up for
optimum performance
All 13m sections and longer are printed with numbers at
5cm apart so you can precisely know the distance you
are catching at.
Top kits are colour keyed to show exactly where you
should cut back to in order for our range of PTFE bushes
to fit perfectly.
Safe-Zone mini butts with full Maximus wrap are
included in the packages. These protect the poles from
elbows and when shipping back. These mini-butts and
now all the 4th and 5th sections in the range have soft
EVA DTPS ends to protect your pole.
The graphite used in these poles can withstand high
temperatures of 3800K (Kelvin), which is the equivalent
of 3502 centigrade. This HKD process means that the
pole stays stable and rigid even in extreme summer
temperatures.
The carbon in these poles is cured under extreme
pressure which forces any tiny air imperfections out of
the sections. This creates a more consistent action and
increases the strength in each section.

Sections are micro-ground to create a low
friction surface, making shipping back faster
and almost effortless.
