Eileen Donan Castle,
on the West coast of
the Scottish Highlands,
was captured by the
Jacobites during the
1719 Rebellion and then
pounded to rubble by
the Royal Navy. It was
painstakingly rebuilt
in the 20th century by
John Macrae-Gilstrap.
