Our focus
Cascade feels that by focusing on each
resident’s physical health, nutrition and
wellbeing it will reduce their risk of developing
physical health conditions which could
affect their health in the future. There is
strong evidence that supports these health
changes as they are known to also increase
self esteem and confidence, as well as
stabilising mood and helping individuals to
feel empowered to carry on making positive
lifestyle choices throughout their lives.
Education is key; we ensure that everyone
within our care has access to full-time,
life-long learning. Provision is individualised;
1:1 or group settings including structured
learning programmes for people, verbal and
non-verbal. We pride ourselves on continual
monitoring. Our outcomes are accreditation,
certification, reward, fulfilment and fun!
Community and social inclusion - building
social relationships and interacting
with communities are vital stepping
stones towards independence. There are
opportunities within Cascade to access and
participate in several aspects of work related
activities, building vocational skills, work
placements and social skills.
