Pam Nicholson has an autistic
son. While successfully raising him
she wanted to increase awareness
and help to transform attitudes
about autism. Pam embarked on
many training courses including
Autism, Psychology - studying
about individuals on the Autistic
Spectrum, Sociology - to
understand the social functions
of autism within society and
a Foundation degree in Social
Health and Care.
Carol holds a Diploma in Education
and a Master of Arts in Theology &
Religious Studies. She started her
educational working career in Junior
High and Primary Schools. Over her
33 years within this industry, she
has experienced many different
teaching roles.
Lynsey has 16 years within the
care industry working for the NHS
During this time she has obtained
a Postgraduate Certificate in
Psychological Therapies as well
as various fitness qualifications
within the fitness industry ranging
from Personal Training to teaching
specific classes.
Tony has been working in IT
for the last 15 years, providing
support to individuals in addition
to more technical services
(such as web and user
interface development).
Sarah is a registered mental
health nurse with over 12 years
of experience within the NHS.
Working across both acute
and secure in-patient settings,
supporting people with complex
health needs; including mental
health, learning disabilities,
physical health and social
needs, promoting recovery for
each individual.
Hence, Pam pioneered the
opening flagship for Cascade in
East Yorkshire.

Carol began her journey at Cascade
in 2010 by offering her voluntary
services as a teacher to run an
educational program for our service
users. Respectively, in 2018 after
many years involvement with
Cascade and after implementing and
delivering high quality educational
programs throughout all our
homes, Carol was appointed Group
Education Director.
Lynsey is the Physical Health
and Wellbeing Manager for the
Cascade Group. Within her role
she promotes each resident's
physical health and wellbeing as
a priority. This includes individual
weight management and activity
programs to ensure each resident
reaches their full potential, both
physically and mentally.
As the Group IT Manager at
Cascade Tony is responsible for
creating and maintaining the
systems we use for online/digital
notes and records. He provides
on-going training for these
systems too. He can help if you
have any account or log-in issues
and provides training on the work
laptops. He is also the point of
contact for any privacy or data
protection (GDPR), or any other IT
related questions you might have.
Sarah is the point of contact for
Registered and Deputy Managers
regarding any issues/concerns/
needs that they may have about
their homes and the people within
them, both residents and staff.
Sonnie Rozenbroek
Group Coordinator &
Compliance Manager
Sonnie has 25 years experience
within the care and education
industry, having qualified from
University with a 1st class honours
degree and a PGCE teaching
certificate. Sonnie joined the
Cascade team 8 years ago, as
Deputy Manager of Cascade’s very
first home, Stiles House, before
moving to her current role.
Sonnie's role ensures that
Cascade conducts its business
in full compliance with all laws and
regulations that pertain to the
industry, as well as professional,
business and internal standards.
Sonnie is involved in coordinating
group and strategic management.
