What does it involve?
Interested in a career in law, and want
to know what life is really like at a future
facing global law firm? Our First Steps
programme is a great place to start.
Whatever your background, the week’s blend
of practical experience, skills sessions, trainee
shadowing, and networking will build your
knowledge and your contacts, and give you
a fantastic insight into the firm.
You’ll improve your presentation and networking
skills and get an introduction to the business of
A buddy and mentor
You’ll get on-going support for the duration of
the programme and beyond.
Practical and social
You’ll gain practical insights into how a global
law firm works and build your network of
contacts with invites to social events.
Successful completetion of the programme may
get you fast-tracked to an assessment day for
the CMS Academy.
Like all participants on this programme, you’ll be
paid £450 for the week.
First Steps confirmed for
