This section has been designed and tested to meet PAS24:2012 which is required for Part Q
of Building Regulations
(October 2015)
Various moulding details can be used.

Schemes which are covered
in this scope:
Timber must be denser than 432 kg/m3
For single windows max outer frame size is 980mm wide x 1470mm high.
For multiple sash windows using a fixed mullion, each sash cannot exceed
910mm wide x 1400mm high
CF1610 or 1612 tape has to be used on sash rebate and glazing beads. Beads also need to be
pinned.
Slave/flying mullion not permitted.
To ensure the window you make conforms, and your Part Q Certificate is valid, you must
order and fit the components detailed in conjunction with the sections specified.
