QUAGLINO’S
Put on the ritz in this iconic
Art Deco destination
Quaglino’s has been the star of
St. James’s since it opened all the
way back in 1929. It has hosted royalty
(in fact, it was the first restaurant to
be visited by a reigning monarch,
when the Queen came for dinner
in 1956) and famously got a nod
in Absolutely Fabulous, but it’s not
all style over substance. One of the
capital’s most decadent interiors,
Quaglino’s also boasts two ornate
private dining rooms and the option
to hire its mezzanine for cocktail and
canapé receptions.
