Can YOU imagine being better than you are ?
We aim to safeguard the safety, health and wellbeing of our people and others who may be affected
by our activities BUT you must … ‘‘Play your part’’… We can’t do it without you.
Every person affected by our Business must return to their family and friends, from work, in as good a
condition as when they got to work and we have put measures in place to achieve ‘Zero Harm’,
– The D Morgan Way, eliminating Accidents.
We want everyone affected by our activities to THINK and ask themselves the question why
and what caused accidents/incidents to happen and how they can be prevented by eliminating
unsafe working conditions.
We encourage everyone (employees, other contractors and third parties) to THINK before they ACT
because THINKING DRIVES ACTIONS.

We want YOU to THINK and prevent accidents/incidents at work and improve our systems,
influencing the way we work by YOU being better than you are. Can you imagine that.
D Morgan has formulated a co-ordinated strategy to deliver an Accident free workplace incorporating
the Behaviour Based Safety approach to deliver the right attitudes & behaviours encouraging
proactive management of our Safe Systems of Work (SSoW), which covers the activities of all
employees and non-employees affected by our undertakings. It’s YOUR chance to change things, to
be better than you are.
We encourage openness & learning from ‘near misses’ never being afraid to ask why it happened
and what we can do to prevent it from happening again.
By doing things differently, influencing the way we all work and understanding how a Behaviour
Based Safety approach can close the ‘Behaviour Gap’ by ‘THINKING BEFORE WE ACT’, we will
get from the Accidents we have now to ‘Zero Harm’ – if you … ‘‘Play your part’’… to be better than
you are by closing the Behaviour Gap.
