There are many things you can do to improve your self-awareness. Some are small and
others take lots of practice, but with time, they will become lifetime habits that will help
you make the best decisions for you and your life.
PRACTICE DEEP BREATHWORK
Taking a slow deep inhale and a longer slow
exhale will calm your nervous system and
make you better able to handle your thoughts
SET YOURSELF GOALS
Set both short and long term gosls for all areas
of your life. Make them realistic but
aspirational and breakdown how you will
achieve them. Finally, envision yourself
reaching them every day.
SHOW YOURSELF RESPECT AND
Be kind to yourself, look after yourself as if you
would a small child and make decisions for
yourself that are in your best interest.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY
Move your body, whether that’s with yoga, a
sport or gardening! Nourish yourself with good
foods. 90% of the hormone serotonin (which
makes you feel happy) is made in your gut, so
its important to feed it right.
