When you practice watching and observing our thoughts without attaching to
them or judging them, you begin to realize a powerful idea: You are not your
thoughts. We easily become lost in our thoughts, assuming they’re true or
worth engaging with simply because our mind decided to throw them at us.

BECOME EMOTIONALLY ATTUNED
When you are in tune with your range of emotions and are able to acknowledge
them, sit with them and process them, you can deal with them better. It is
important to understand what triggers certain emotions in you and notice, without
judgement, how you react to them. Once you begin to do this, you can learn to
accept your feelings, let them flow through your body and then release, even the
negative ones like sadness and anger.

Since we were young, our brains have soaked up information like a sponge which
influences our thoughts of ourselves and the world around us. These thoughts are
sometimes a result of beliefs we have from childhood that we have internalized as

as an adult you may still hold this belief as the concrete truth. This is sometimes

UNDERSTAND YOUR VALUES
In order to really understand yourself you need to know what your values and
aspirations are. Set time aside to ask yourself the following questions
What do I want for myself in life?
What makes me feel fulfilled?
What is important to me in life?
What motivates me?
