U15 A
U15 C
The U15A team has had a simply
outstanding season even given the glut
of injuries and illnesses. This group of
netballers has real depth of talent and this
has been highlighted by some exceptional
results, beating some very strong teams
such as Nowich, Felsted, Ipswich High
and Bishop’s Stortford. As a squad they
can show real tenacity when the going
gets tough and there is not one player I
would mention over others as a stand out
netballer. The highlight of the year was the
success of the squad getting through to
Regionals (a year young!)
A superbly athletic, hardworking and
talented team. Well done to all.
The U15C girls have had a tough season
this year but from the beginning to the
end of the season they have been nothing
but a delight to coach. Some standout
performances were seen from Berangere
Louis, Ann Delbrouck, Bela Reader, Lily
Reader, Hattie Reader, and Kate Goodman.
Much improvement was shown from Tatiana
Hearn, Carmen Kardan, Nell O’Hagan,
and Belle Connell. Thank you to all of the
girls that were involved this season - you
have made it thoroughly enjoyable and fun
throughout.

U15 B
The U15B team has been a pleasure
to coach this term and ably led by Lucy
Garrard. When the going has been tough
they have responded in the most positive
manner often saving their best for the final
quarter. Victories often followed; we swept
aside Norwich School, Ely, Felsted and
Norwich High School. As a team however,
they will not be defined by their results, but
more by their enthusiasm and positive team
spirit which has been evident throughout
the entire squad.

U14 A
The U14A team has had a great season.
It has been brilliant to have such a large
squad of girls who are capable of playing
at this level and I have been impressed by
their hard work and massive improvement
over the course of the season.
They showed their class early on when, despite never having really played together as
a team, they became area champions and
then made it all the way to the semi-finals
of the County play-offs.
Their hallmark in every game has been
their absolute determination – shown in
early and hard-fought victories against both
Felsted and RHS and, later in the season,
against Woodbridge.

The U14Bs have had a fantastic season,
showing a relentless dedication to making
life hard for the opponents. They had
a terrific attitude in training and it’s not
surprising that this led to a team that
gained both skill and confidence. Their
behaviour both in training and during
matches showed how much they cared for
and respected each other.

The girls have been a delight to work
with this term. They have worked hard in
training and been enthused to take part
in our ‘World Series’ tournament as the
‘Chiefs’ v the U15C team ‘Roosters’ in
which we won convincingly (unlucky Mr
Turner!). In our school matches the girls
have shown great spirit and, in particular,
the game against Felsted was a real
highlight.
