HOUSEKEEPING
House Singing
STRADBROKE
HOUSE
What has always impressed me throughout
my time in Stradbroke is the complete
devotion every single boy shows to the
House. In everything we do, we always
show our spirit and manage to have fun,
no matter if we win or lose. I think this was
clearly demonstrated in our first event,
House Singing. Although we somehow
managed to forget all our dance moves we
still showed how much fun we could have
and how close we are as a House.
April saw us hold our annual House dinner
and, afterwards, our silent disco allowed us
to finally see the impressive dance moves
performed by many of the boys and even
some of the staff!
Sports-wise this year I think it is safe to say
we have been the underdogs. Our Senior
House rugby team managed to snatch an
impressive 2nd place against all odds and
the boys in Senior Cricket showed their skill
by coming home in 1st place.
I am hugely proud to have led Stradbroke
this year, and would like to thank all the
boys in the House for making it such a
great year for everyone. I would like to give
huge congratulations to Eddie Darley for
House Dinner
All our positive House spirit comes from the
top, and I don’t think we would have had
such a brilliant year if it wasn’t for all the
work that our Housemaster, Mr Dyer, puts
into the House.
Part Song - House Singing
becoming next year’s Head of House and I
really hope he has as enjoyable a year as I
have had.
