Events are entirely pupil-led, with children
bringing their ideas and plans for raising
money to their form teacher, organising the
events themselves and learning much as
part of the process!
Year 8 really led the way with an excellent
Year 8 fete which was enjoyed by the whole
school on a Friday afternoon and raised
over a thousand pounds. Year 7 also
contributed in impressive style with their
enterprise projects earlier in the year, while
other groups of pupils from Year 3 upwards
ran different events including colour day,
where pupils dressed up, cake and sweet
sale and of course, the now famous sweet
and slime stall! Well done everyone who
organized events this year but also to
the school community as a whole who
supported each event whole-heartedly.
The school has supported international,
national and local charities and the Year
8s also fundraised for equipment for the
younger years next year as part of break
time legacy project which was great to see.
We look forward to continuing their great
work next year.
