KEELY BALL WROTE:
I joined Brandeston Hall in January 2006 for four
afternoons a week coaching Games. With my
daughters, Taylor and India happily settled at the
Prep School, I then became a full time member of
staff teaching Year 4, but I retained some of my
teaching time delivering PE and Games across all
year groups. Over the last three years, I have been
lucky enough to be involved with umpiring the 1st
VII at the senior school. Despite seeing five Heads at
the Prep School and two at the Senior end since my
arrival as a parent, the school’s general ethos hasn’t
changed and both of our girls have thrived on the
sports field and left the College as archetypal wellrounded young women.
DERYCK COX WROTE:
I greatly appreciate this gesture – I
left Framlingham College 45 years
(I am now 90 years old) so this was
a delightful surprise! I am still in
touch with several OF pupils and
have happy memories of my time
at the College.
MARK LAVERY WROTE:
It is difficult to overstate how important the College is to me. I joined in 2008 as
Resident Tutor in Stradbroke House and made the move along the main corridor
to become Housemaster of Rendlesham House in 2014. I was married in the
Chapel in 2011 and my children have lived here all their lives (7 and 5 years
respectively). The College is therefore, as for so many OFs, not merely a place
where I have worked; it has become an integral part of both my professional and
personal lives. This is a truly unique and special place and it is a genuine privilege
to live and work here. I’d like to thank the SOF for this Honorary Membership; it
really does mean a great deal to me and is hugely appreciated.
