HOUSEKEEPING
MOREAU
HOUSE
MOREAU HAS HAD AN EXCITING YEAR -WE
HAVE HAD MANY SPECIAL OCCASIONS TO
CELEBRATE AS A HOUSE, ESPECIALLY OUR
HOUSE DINNER IN MARCH; RALPH TAYLOR AND
HIS BAND WERE A REAL HIGHLIGHT THERE.
One of the key sporting celebrations of
the year occurred after winning House
Hockey – lots of laughter and teamwork
went into that. Moreau juniors have had
a very exciting year and did especially
well in cross country.
I have loved my time in Moreau, it’s very
clichéd to say, but the girls in the house
have honestly been a family away from
home for the past five years; they are all
such a lovely bunch. We are also very
lucky to have an amazing matron, Paula,
who never ever lets us go hungry and
continues to feed us endless amounts of
biscuits every breaktime and toast every
Thursday (which honestly does help me
to get through a tough day). Also, the
girls will be very sad next year, as Paula
is retiring and will no longer be uplifting

the girls’ spirits everyday, but we are also
very excited for her and hope she has a
lovely time in the future.
We also have a fantastic resident
tutor, Georgia Linnell, who always
looks out for all of the girls and helps
to cheer us up when we are down.
Mrs Myers-Allen has been the most
amazing housemistress in my time at
Framlingham; whether helping us to
plan future paths or helping everyone to
always see the positive side of situations.
Mrs M has also created an amazing
family atmosphere in the House between
the girls, which I will forever cherish.
