2018-2019 SAW OUR FIRST
MATHEMATICIANS SIT THE
REFORMED A LEVEL COURSES.
We are extremely proud of our A Level
students for achieving an 100% pass rate
with challenging papers, and our Year 11
pupils who produced pleasing results in
their iGCSES. 95% of pupils passed, with
84% of these pupils achieving a grade 5 or
higher.
Regional Maths Challenge. The HPT was
buzzing with teamwork, reasoning, and
problem solving, which was a delight to
see.
2019 marked the first ever UK version of
the Naboj Competition: an international
Mathematics competition where teams of
5 Sixth Form students compete to solve
problems. There were around 500 teams
competing simultaneously in Cambridge,
Switzerland, Germany, Russia, Poland,
Romania, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungry
and Slovakia. Victor Yu, Rufus Easey, Will
Gladwell, Cantillo Zhao and Gaby Antoci
formed the team that came an impressive
4th out of the 12 teams at Cambridge.
