Once again, students taking the RS GCSE
attained some excellent results, with all
students meeting or exceeding expectations;
first year A Level students learned much
from the mock examination in the new
Philosophy A level and those in the final
year of the outgoing A Level course all
achieved a creditable pass.
Yet again, the motivation and engagement

This year saw our Year 10 and 11 classes
join together for an educational visit to
London. In the morning students had a
seminar and meditation at the Jamyang
Buddhist Centre, a peaceable spiritual
community housed in what was previously a
maximum security court for IRA suspects. In
the afternoon, students enjoyed a bespoke
tour of Christian and Buddhist artefacts at
the V&A, artefacts that throw light on beliefs
about the afterlife.
