ANOTHER HUGELY
SUCCESSFUL SEASON OF
NETBALL AT FRAMLINGHAM
COLLEGE PREP SCHOOL.
Netball at the school continues to go from
strength to strength with the 2018-2019
season seeing many teams remaining
unbeaten through the year against some
very tough opposition. Many girls are
now playing netball outside of the school
too, with increasing numbers joining our
Collegiate teams - High 5 at junior and
senior levels. Some very talented individuals
were also selected to represent the county.
The U9 teams in the Autumn Term worked
with great spirit and enthusiasm and once
again excelled in their tournaments and
school matches. Despite the small numbers
in the year groups there is now real depth
through the squads and excellent technical
skills were developed over the season.
The senior squads and U11s recorded
possibly their best seasons ever with
many of the teams remaining unbeaten
through the term. The girls worked very
hard week in and week out with real
enthusiasm and this resulted in improved
team and individual skills and also their
tactical know-how. The 1st team and U11
A team had fabulous results at the IAPS
tournaments, their most successful ever and
the teams gelled with positivity and team
spirit; a few individuals were even picked
out as exceptional players by an ex-England
player!
A fantastic season was had by all. Many
thanks to all the pupils for their drive and
hard work and to all the talented, dedicated
and creative coaches too. It’s very exciting
watching the sport of netball grow.
