WELCOME
Welcome to the Framlinghamian 2018-19
I am delighted to introduce the Framlinghamian this year: it is a celebration of the community that makes up
Framlingham College – both the Prep and the Senior Schools - and of the many and varied achievements of
our pupils over the course of the last academic year. From the children in the nursery through to those in the
Sixth Form, every child is an individual who enrichens the lives of those around them, who is filled with ideas,
hopes, ambitions and whom we are privileged to have in our care.
We want our pupils to be filled with a zest for life, a love of learning and the confidence and courage to
embrace their future. The Framlinghamian illustrates the many opportunities that our pupils embrace,
whether intellectual, theatrical, sporting, musical or creative. All of these opportunities form part of the holistic
education that characterises life at Framlingham College and we are extremely proud of every single pupil,
for the learning journey that they are on and for the progress that they have made this year.
Moreover, this Framlinghamian is an opportunity to say thank you and goodbye to Paul Taylor and his wife
Amanda. Paul was a devoted Headmaster whose integrity, kindness and warmth will endure within the
Framlingham College community for years to come.
