WCC NEWS 15th SEPT.
Carp legends Lee Jackson and Tim
Paisley in peg 76 of the Jochym
Marine Section with a monster
Madine mirror at 25.5kg – the biggest
fish of the competition so far!
**#17WCC Leaderboard at 16:30**
with some 15 hours to go, here’s the
updated version of the leaderboard,
which sees the German on peg 87
section, Avid Carp, in the lead. It’s a
fierce competition with many still
potential contenders. Biggest fish is
now 25.5kg, which has been caught
by legendary angler Lee “Jacko” Jackson on peg 76.
We’ve just had news of a massive
fish that could completely flip the
leaderboard and send a new team
skyrocketing into first place! We’re a
bit lost for words, so we’ll get back to
you shortly!
WCC NEWS 16th SEPT
Fish pictures are rolling in. The competition is drawing to an end in a little
over six hours, and things are just
hectic! Big fish are coming
at us from all corners of the
lake, and now from teams
that have caught nothing
up til tonight. There are
names on the scoreboard
that we haven’t seen yet.
Some common names have
started to disperse from the
podium places, and whatever guesses we had in our
minds are well and truly out
the window. It’s so much to
process, and I think tomorrow at the
prize ceremony there’s going to be a
big shock. We’re looking at some serious fluctuations, and all I can think
is... What will happen next?
WCC NEWS 16th SEPT
An amazing finish to Tim Paisley, Lee
Jackson and Benji Petutshnig-Fisherlauser winning the World Carp Classic
2017.
The weather conditions warranted
strength and endurance, but confidence and experience prevailed! n
