the lake is around 12ft, and I found a
shallower plateau around 7ft and
baited with my usual mix of corn,
hemp and boilie. I fished two rods
over this and one in the margins. Just
before I went to sleep I noticed small
slicks coming up over my spot, and at
two in the morning I had a small
stockie around 8lb. I quickly got the
rod back out and got some sleep.
At 6.30 in the morning I was woken
to a screaming run and after a hard
battle I landed a fish known as Pawprint, which is a lovely scaly warrior
which weighted 36lb 13oz. Rather
