Mark Chesson caught eight fish in a 24-hour session on his
syndicate. All fish were caught on Dave Mallin’s Pungent Squid
18mm hardened hook baits balanced with half a pop-up. The
biggest of the eight was a common that weighed 29lb 13oz.
Mark didn’t disappoint with this epic 32lb mirror he landed fishing
tight to a weedbed.
More scaly perfection from Mitch Hammonds with a stunning lowthirty mirror known as the Croc’s Brother.
Mark Matthew had this 24lb 10oz common on a recent trip to his
syndicate water. The fish fell to a Shropshire Gold wafter from Retro
Baits and was caught on a combi rig with size 7 Nash Twister, all
cast to a tree line with around 2kg of freebies around it.
Mick Maloney decided on a midweek 24-hour session at his local
syndicate lake, banking a lovely 21lb common and landing nine fish
in total, with all fish caught on Uber Baits Ubernutz range – his best
session on the syndicate for three years.
Matt Whalley managed to sneak out for a cheeky overnighter, and
armed with his favoured bait, Deep Blue Particles and the DBP NT1
boilies from The Other Side range. The rigs were tied blowback
style with J Precision Wide Gape hooks. The reward was this
stunning 17lb-plus fully scaled mirror, and this capture certainly
made his night despite the pouring rain!
