Paul Hopper turned up for his second session on his new
syndicate, Hope Lake in Northampton. He fished a scattering of
Redseal bottom baits, fished on a Ronnie rig with Fruit Punch
pops over the top. His middle rod ripped off, he lifted into it, and
the fish was on. He realised the size of him and could only just fit
him in the net. He knew it could be the mighty Tyson but rang
Dave the bailiff to confirm… and yes, it was, weighing in at 48lb
15oz! He was made up to get his target fish so early into his
Adam Honeysett took a week off to try to get to know his new
syndicate water a bit better ready for when he gets back to the norm
of fishing weekends. His ultimate goal was to watch the water to try
learn their movements plus try to get a carp under his belt. He was
over the moon to be off the mark with fish of 23lb 4oz, 37lb 8oz and
38lb, Castaway PVA mesh, PVA tape and cable ties all coming into
Matt Eade with only one to show for his evening session.
