spent most of the day walking round
the lake and in Pete's swim talking
tactics, which I also enjoy because
usually I'm at the other end of the lake
to him. I usually go where I truly think
the fish are to be had.
My brother and I decided to get a
pizza delivered to the lake, and with
full bellies it was about 6pm when I
got back in my swim, cast the rods
out for the night, and then went to see
John in One Up. We chatted about old
times, as I've known John for quite
some time, and he's a good angler.
The night passed with no action. I
rung my brother to see if he had any
news, and he replied that he’d had
another tinca. He was a bit gutted
because there were carp showing
over him, but again the tench got
there first.
