THE RESULTS ARE FLOODING IN!
Asso UK said: “The idea was to get a wide range of different anglers to test the line in many
different situations. Rather than recruiting semi-pro anglers, we ran a competition that anyone
could enter, and we chose the testers from a photo entry. We didn’t just go for biggest fish; we
went for interesting. We now have 100 testers including juniors, ladies, occasional anglers and
angling coaches and guides – a full spectrum who are not being paid by us to say it’s good. All
we have asked for is honest feedback. So far it’s been very positive, and some great fish have
already been landed on the lines.”
The new Asso Carp Lines
were launched in the UK last
month, and 100 lucky anglers
were sent Free Line and an
Asso hoodie. Although it’s
still early days, here are a
few of their initial comments.
Join us next month for more
of their comments and
catches. Here is what they
say so far:
Stuart has just got back from France where
the best two fish he had were these at 31lb
and 32lb, caught within half an hour of each
other. The first one took 20 minutes to land.
Stuart was using 16lb Mainline Master, and
he said it casts beautifully and lays on the
spool a dream. He fished at distance and
has 100% confidence in the line. He will not
be using anything else from now! Thanks
for the report.
Harry has been using Asso Mainline Master for the last couple of weeks, and he has
had around 20 fish to 27lb. He said it’s easy for casting and has not let him down at all.

Tim sent us this: “I arrived at the lake
today to find a group of three fish in
some pads, and I managed to sneak this
big double out on a tiny piece of breadflake. I was using Asso Mainline Abrasion 12lb fluorocarbon mainline, which
hooked around some pads for most of
the fight – no problems at all though. It
has great abrasion qualities, and the
carp obviously didn’t see the line fished
direct to the hook. I’m well pleased.
Jamie Kirsty Smith with a pristine common
taken on the Asso 12lb sinking mainline in
brown. I have so much confidence in this
line – it’s done us proud.
