4 Continental Hook on a simple running rig.
Chris Battrick – Venue: Menards Carp Fishery. Weight: 38lb 9oz. Bait
Used: Monster Tiger Nut pop-up.
Rig Used: Ronnie/360 rig. I used Korda end tackle – 12lb main line and
a running inline lead. I fished 20 yards down a right hand margin

casting out. The fish is called Miller’s Mate and hasn’t been caught
for between five and seven years. It was stocked in 1999 at 18lb and is
now a new lake record at 38lb 9oz.
Wayne Iszatt _ I had this old English linear from a tough syndicate

The weight was 32lb 12oz.
Lee Pollard – Here are a few captures from a recent visit to my

including two 27s and the smallest at 23lb. All fish were taken on QC
Baits Red Candy and South West specials pop-ups fished to a silt
pocket using Gardner size 6 Mugga hooks.
