Matt Osborn – Here’s a 40 from the other day. At 6.15, the rod cast out
towards the showing fish, with a single UK Bait Company Fix-8
wafter on, went into meltdown. After a hairy battle with a bit of
weed, I netted my new PB weighing in at 40lb 2oz.
Tom Blackmore – I got back down to the private syndicate I fish last
week. Both rods were sent out on naked chods with white UK Bait
Company Pro-Nut pop-ups and a few handfuls of whole 15/18mm
Pro-Nut baits as well as chops! At 7am, bang, the left hand rod was
away with a 17lb 8oz common! Later on that afternoon, the right
hand rod flew into action with a 15lb common. Not a bad start, but I
had to cut the session short.
Connor Turner – UK 30lb! I just nailed this 30lb 6oz common on a
12mm trimmed-down UK Bait Company Pro-Nut pop-up off the
surface! It was my target fish out the syndicate!

Tom Blackmore – Last week I had a spare few hours. UK Bait
Company Fix-8 would be much better suited for this lake. I arrived at
07:30 with all three rods set up on blow bag rigs snowman style,
18mm bottom bait Fix-8 and two with white 15mm pop-ups, one
with a pink 15mm pop-up and a generous helping of Fix-8 scattered
over the top. I had 14 fish, most of which were small doubles, but
some real stunners. Having used 5kg of Fix-8 and a cracking day, the
biggest fish was the last, coming in at 17lb 8oz
Tom Milson– Five hours, five takes visiting an old local brick pit for
the afternoon and fishing 12mm Berry Tang pop-ups over Reaper and
Northern Spice with a handful of sweetcorn fishing to reeds and
snags produced some action from old Leneys that really know how to
fight!
Paul Heseltine – I recently had a frustrating trip to Bluebell
Kingfisher Lake. The fish proved to be very tricky, but my persistence
paid off, as I managed to winkle out this beautiful 29lb 14oz common
off the surface feeding them with 4mm floating expander pellets and
dog biscuits and using a Trimmed Down Nutz pop-up as hook bait.
