Ben Oconnor – … and the second is a 35lb 14oz common for Ben using
Castaway PVA products.
Matt Osborn – My third bite of the session and third 30 on the bank.
What a great send off this is turning out to be! Bang-on 32lb this
lovely zip lin went, falling to the same tactics and same rod that
rattled off this morning. #UKBC #Fix8 #Pro-Evo
Paul Dozier – Just a baby from last weekend – a repeat catch, but it
was still welcome. I was using Castaway PVA products to help snare
Damo Lee – It’s over three years since his last capture, and I forgot
how many times he’s done me over, but finally he’s slipped up to a bit
of freelined bread. I’m absolutely buzzing!
Pj Williams – After 24 hours having the fish in the margins but not a
pick-up for myself, this morning I was determined to get one in the
net. After seeing a good fish roll 30 yards to the left of my swim, I was
debating whether to move four pegs up, and within five minutes,
another good mirror rolled just one swim up, which made my mind
up to move up and cast to them. After 30 minutes, I had a really
touchy take, and I lifted into another Willow Tree banger. Duster
Baits CCO pastel pop-up presented on a Ronnie rig with a handful of
Nut-trix 10mm in Castaway PVA 25mm mesh did the trick again.
Adam Honeysett – I was glad to get out for 48 hours this weekend
after a few weeks off, and I’m really pleased to have got another one
under my belt. With bottom fishing being almost impossible, I
managed this cracking 30lb 5oz mirror off the top. A trimmed Magnet
pop-up doesn’t half make the perfect hook bait. I was using
Castaway PVA narrow mesh bags, helping me get small pockets of
bait to the area.
