Leigh Hemsley – Castaway PVA 35mm mesh bag with a three-bait
25mm parachute bag and PVA nuggets on my usual long rigs were
the downfall of this 50lb 8oz mirror.
Tom Mcfahn – I finally got round to getting pics sorted from Fishabil
last month. Castaway PVA rig tubes helped keeping the rigs tanglefree on long-range casts.
Michael Doogan – I went to Bishops Bowls for a quick overnighter. I
was using a blowback rig with the Viper Tackle Crank hook and
Horizon Baits. I landed this lovely looking dark common at 21lb 5oz.
Wayne Taylor – I managed to get on a day ticket water for a few hours
today and sneaked this one out of the margin. It’s a tricky peg to fish
but worth the effort. I was using castaway PVA mesh and castaway
foam nuggets.
Matt England – I decided to go fishing Sunday for 24 hours at my
syndicate, White Lakes in Essex. I spodded about 2-3kg of pellet, corn
and Galaxy Baits Salmon & Spider Crab boilies soaked in matching
glug over all three spots. Deciding that I would use a slip D-rig this
session, I began to tie a few rigs using the 25lb breaking strain Rig
Marole Skinfull in green with a 16mm washed-out pink Galaxy Baits
pop-up. Armed with freshly spooled Rig Marole FLX 15lb mainline,
braided rig tubing, Freefall lead clips and tail rubbers, the first bite
came at around 4pm, an fully scaled 18lb 5oz ghostie. Shortly
afterwards, I had a nice big chunky common. The session continued
like this until 4am by which time I had landed seven fish to 31lb.
Fishing tight up against snags all session paid dividends for me,
doing so safely with the Freefall lead clips that ejected the lead as
soon as it came into contact with any resistance allowing me to land
the fish safely.

Paul Heseltine – I had a wicked Castaway PVA social this weekend. It
was meant to be sturgeon fishing, but unfortunately they eluded me.
However, I still managed three carp: two doubles and one at 25lb 7oz.
Castaway PVA Bait Guard was used to make some meatballs, fished
over Purefish boilies.
