Jason Mooney (Dynamite Baits) started fishing on the bottom on the Friday night (9th March) but had no bites. He realised that the fish were off
the bottom, so on the following night he moved swims where he saw the fish topping over a deep hole.
Fishing three rods, he had the small fish and a tench in the evening. The Sunday morning that followed he had the 23lb’er and then the 39 at
around 7am. The swim is quite snaggy, so it was a nervous battle with the big fish on light zig tackle and minimal stretch fluoro, but he
managed to get it in for the photos.
James Walkling recently returned from a fishing trip to Jurassica 2 in
France where he had a ten-fish haul resulting in a new lake record
fish known as Reecey Boy weighing in at 59lb 8oz! All fish were
caught on DNA baits Secret 7 boilies fished with a DNA PB pop-up
fished as a critically balanced snowman presentation.
Simon Gough Took this pretty 30lb mirror along with a common of
31lb 4oz and smaller mirror of 22lb 4oz during a 48-hour session at a
private Somerset syndicate water. All were caught between 30 and
50 yards out on Baitworks boilies.
Matthew Callaghan – Here are some pics from a recent trip to my
syndicate in Kent. I managed to take the two biggest residents
within 12 hours of each other. The mirror is known as Half Lin, which
went 35lb 2oz, and the common is known as Black Spot and went 32lb
2oz. I also managed to recapture the Half Lin again only 36 hours after
I had it at a spawned-out weight of 34lb on the nose. Instagram –
