Sam Stott with Stoneacres’ Bite Mark.
Michael Ruthven – Monster Tigernut helped Michael Ruthven
achieve a lifelong dream when he banked his first UK fifty. The
incredible specimen tipped the scales at 52lb 2oz and was tempted
by Mike during an overnight session from an undisclosed private
syndicate water.
There’s a reason the Linch Hill complex is so popular. This mid 30pounder was one of many incredible looking fishing caught by Mark
Les Teasdale, 32lb 10oz mirror carp, Hampshire club lake,16th June
2018, 48-hour session. Rod Hutchinson Bait & Tackle The Force 15mm
The Foodbait boilies, bottom baits. My son Paul and I fished the
opening 48-hour session at the start of our club lake’s season
beginning 9pm 15th June in swims next to each other but both
blanked on the first night, so when a swim came available on the lake
not too far away from my son the next day, I moved to it later that
afternoon. I have caught from this swim before, so it was worth the
moving and trying to get a result. At 11.45pm that night, I received a
steady take, which when landed turned out to be a lovely 32lb 10oz
mirror carp, which was a cracking start to the new season. I fished
about 25 yards to the far margin of the island in front of the swim
using an RH The Force 15mm bottom bait boilie with a spread of the
same bait over both rods. Les Teasdale.
There’s just no stopping Tin Pot at the moment. His latest visit to a
private Kent pit produced this Krill-loving 47lb common!
This deep bodied, big pit mirror left Jim Wilson buzzing this
morning, and we can see why!
More winter wonders from Ben Leuty’s recent haul on a
