Angler: Ross Ryder – 30lb 2oz common from a recent over nighter on a
large southern reservoir. I was properly chuffed with this one, as the
bigger ones are few and far between among all the upper doubles. I
used double corked out tiger nuts over a mix of krill particles,
chopped tigernuts, tigernuts and broken up Tigernut boilies soaked
in liquid attractant. Had six bites in three overnighters landing five
when all others have been plugging through the doubles.
Just 12 hours into his latest session on the New Forest Water Park,
Lee Upward was paid a visit by this 41-pounder known as the
Football Common.
Lee Wheeler… When the stars align, the magic happens – a truly
incredible capture of a very special carp.
More from Steve Sellick, this time a well-proportioned 28lb 8oz

David Herman – I went to Cobble Acre lakes for a 60-hour session. I
had two small cats at first, and then it came to the last day, and I got
on the surface gear out again. At around 11am, I saw a couple of carp
cruising up and down, so I cast my bait just in front of them, and
within a few minutes, I managed to get Fungus at 26lb 3oz using a
size 10 Viper Wide Gape and a Big Fish Baits Spiced Nut cork dust
pop-up trimmed down. I was so happy to get another of the A-team.
