Nucleus Baits catch reports
John Paul McLusker recently fished Cotswolds Water Park on a ten-night session. He fished the Point swim, as this gave him the
most water. After finding six clear patches in between weed beds at 18/25 wraps, it was on. He fished three rods over the six
spots as and when to try and keep on the fish as spots dried up. His approach was different from his normal way of filling it in, so
because of the high pressure and hot conditions, he fished small beds of pellet and boilie delivered via his bait boat. John ended
up with 18 fish and five lost, the biggest being a 33lb 10oz common and new PB, backed up with mirrors of 28lb 8oz, 25lb, 24lb,
22lb and two other low 20s, the rest being doubles. #nucleusbaits #plumberry #testbait
Lake record – Consultant Dylan Kent has been on a mission at his local syndicate. He started off with nine weeks of prebaiting
then ten nights fishing split up into two five-day sessions in May. His goal being the General, which is the biggest resident in the
lake. He fished a Tangemarine bottom bait topped with a 10mm Plumberry pop-up, presented on multi-rig on his baited spots.
After landing a few of the smaller residents, he finished the second session with his target fish, the General at a new weight of
28lb 8oz. #nucleusbait #tangemarine #plumberry.
