FL12Sept - Page 31

This heavily scaled mirror came as part of a recent seven-fish haul for
Jim Wilson. A large spread of The Krill boilies proved devastating on
his Lincolnshire syndicate.
A leathery Walthamstow resident for John Barnes during a recent
day-session. He adopted a mobile approach to take a carp from both
Reservoir no.2 and no.3.
Blood moon banger for young Rob Briers! A 12mm Signature Squid
hookbait fished on a tightly baited area amongst thick Canadian
proved too hard to resist for this stunning mirror.
Michael Green – This is the first time I’ve used the baits! I’ve gone for
Pro-Nut from UK Bait Company and scattered freebies and a 14mm
Pro-Nut white pop-up on a stiff hinge rig! There are only six known
20s in here, and the Pro-Nut landed one earlier just going 20lb 7oz!
Fingers crossed for another during the night!
Robert Horsburgh – Yesterday, I did a 24-hour session on one of my
local lakes using the UK Bait Company Pro-Evo bottom bait for the
first time, and what can I say, especially with the recent weather
conditions? I caught these little beauties with a home-made
standard hair rig at 18lbs, 14lbs 11lbs, two at 10lbs and a 7lb’er.
This dumpy bar of gold was one of six fish landed by Steve Baker
during a trip to a local sand pit. Baiting with Krill boilies and
bloodworm pellets kept the fish homing in on his wafter hookbait.
