During a three-night visit to Kingfisher Lake on the Bluebell
complex, our very own Jordan Dales managed to land this stunning
mirror known as Penny Scale at just a shade under 40lb.
Arriving at Dinton Pastures, Gaz Fareham found the fish were
spawning again, so he booked a tunnel crossing and headed off on a
600-mile round trip. This lovely, dark, low-forty mirror made the trip
well worth it.
A long northern one for Rob Briers. This near thirty-pounder was one
of three fish caught during a recent 48-hour session.
Simon Kenny made the most of the summery weather during his
latest visit to Horton’s Church Lake. This upper-twenty common was
one of two fish that he caught off the top whilst feeding The Krill
Floaters.
Edward Coupland – I took the Fix-8 for a test run today on a bit of a
hectic day session. I had 18 takes and landed 18. All fish were caught
on UK Bait Company Fix-8 white pop-ups on Ronnie rigs fished over
Fix-8 freebies. Biggest of the session was 19lb. Weights were 16lb
4oz, 15lb 2oz, 19lb, 15lb 9oz and 13lb 5oz.
