Michael Whitney, with a switch of venues, fished one rod for the
day and had this stunner, the Evolution Carp Tackle NSR doing the
biz as usual, helping land, weigh, retain and releasing of the carp.
Mike Power’s day session on his local lake resulted in a 17lb mirror
caught using Evolution Carp Tackle’s double corn stack fished over
Monster Particle Tier 1 with the fish landed weighed and returned
in the Evolution Carp Tackle NSR.
Neil Butterworth caught this fish on a quick overnight session at a
local syndicate using an NB Tackle Crank Offset size 6 hook and solid
PVA bag with CC Moore Live System bag mix and using a Core Baits
Core boilie with a yellow topper. It tipped the scales at 19lb 3oz.
James Scherer had a great night’s fishing on the Horton complex
landing three belters up to 40lb including this old warrior.
Warren Fenn fished a rock hard southern pit that just holds ten carp
and unbelievably landed nine of them in under a year.
Fishing on a week night and setting up in the dark, Richard Handel
Spombed out just over a kilo of Smokey Jack boilies, flicked out a
bottom bait and wafter on either side of a nice silty area and just
off the side of a gravel bar. At 2am, the right hand rod belted off,
and he was onto a very hard fighting fish. Once in the net, it tipped
the scales at just over twenty pounds.
