Reuben Heaton launches the first stage of social media
campaign for Eagle Claw brands distribution
Reuben Heaton Ltd, official distributor for Eagle Claw brands in
the UK and Ireland unveiled the first stage of its new dedicated
Eagle Claw social media framework with the launch of the
Facebook page Eagle Claw Europe @EagleClawEurope on 1st
October 2019.
This initial launch will be followed in the coming days by
further separate launches, announced on both Reuben Heaton
and Eagle Claw Europe Facebook pages, for dedicated
Instagram #eagleclaweurope and Twitter @EagleClawEU feeds.
Having developed significant interest in Eagle Claw brands
via Reuben Heaton social media streams, it was felt that the
weight of traffic now warranted a separate media framework
for all things Eagle Claw in the UK. With
Reuben Heaton’s_ _involvement in national
and European angling events having a positive
effect for Eagle Claw brands outside the UK and
Ireland, the decision was taken to launch the
campaign with the title Eagle Claw Europe.
After an initial launch period, additional, more
specialist pages and groups are anticipated
depending on future product development and
end user influences.
The new Eagle Claw social media streams will be supported
by significant investments in new infrastructure on the main

Increased functionality for product searches and product
Improved functionality for the “Where to buy” retailer section
enabling searches by geographic region or hook brand
New front page for the Eagle Claw products section with
separate social media feed
Dedicated email for information and feedback on Eagle Claw
As part of our commitment to support the
angling trade and independent retailers, pages
will contain regular spotlights dedicated to
individual Eagle Claw retailers, the products
they stock and the events they hold. Together
with regular product features and seasonal
posts from pro-staff, our format is designed
specifically to connect anglers with both retailer
and brand and promote awareness of both. n
