Nick Helleur took advantage of a break in heavy rainfall to grab some images of this
immaculate common. He landed the fish from a big reservoir.
The Wharf’s head bailiff, Marc Woodward, checking in with one of the venue’s
lovely commons.

28 FREE LINE
This incredibly black common was another highlight for Gareth Fareham, taken on a
late summer jaunt to a sleepy old European canal.
This old, characterful, 53lb 10oz common is a very rare visitor to the bank. It was
the highlight of what has been a very successful autumn.
Tom De Maat managed a few rare scaly characters on his recent trip to a French
barrage, something he thought he could only dream of.
This scaly 31lb 12oz mirror was the result of a 24hour session on a Kent syndicate
for Jack Hood.
