Johnsons Farm is an award-winning family
run business, still growing from strength to
strength for over 100 years. It's been a
particularly busy year for the family, having
seen a dramatic increase for their produce
due to the lack of fresh vegetables in the
supermarkets.
Now run by Clive and his son George, they're
passionate about good old-fashioned flavours
and heritage varieties, so traditional lines are
a favourite. From purple sprouting broccoli to
parsnips, purple cauliflowers to pink fir apple
potatoes, there isn't much that they can't
grow.
All of the produce in our essential Christmas
veg boxes this year is sourced solely from
Johnsons' farm, from unique heritage finds to
all your old favourites. Harvested from their
fields just before delivery, you can rest
assured that they'll make for delicious side
dishes to your turkey.
Pink fir apple potatoes are a festive favourite
says George, "roast them with the skin on,
with a drizzle of olive oil and some sea salt
flakes - they're a bit different to your standard
Christmas roasties but they're even more
delicious".
