Glow Party
If you like to have a dress code
for the final few hours of the year,
Freedom Bar in Soho is putting on a
Glow Party. This isn’t in memory of
the prematurely cancelled Netflix
wrestling series — although feel free
to wear a singlet if you so wish — but
think neon and big, bright colours
instead. There’ll be giveaways of glow
sticks, face paints and bracelets so
everyone can get in on the glow-up,
plus the trademark mix of cocktails,
live entertainment and DJs playing
until the early morning that everyone
knows and loves about Freedom Bar.

The Cock Tavern
At the time of writing, tickets for The Cock Tavern’s NYE bash were
running perilously low. We can see why seeing as they included
pizza, a coupla drinks and a buzzin’ dance floor until 3am. If these
have all gone by the time you finally get around to looking, that’s
tough luck. However, don’t let that stop you from popping down
at some other point in the festive period as there’ll still be plenty of
dancing and merriment. If you really want to replicate the New Year
spirit, you can kiss whoever’s next to you at the stroke of midnight
and get a little weepy afterwards — this doesn’t really play as well any
other night of the year, though.
