Recon
Fetish Week
s
London is a pretty horny city at the
best of times, but this goes up a notch
at the start of July when Recon Fetish
Week rolls into town. Over the week,
you can hit up parties for those dead
into rubber, leather and sportswear,
as well as huge blowouts at FABRIC
and Electrowerkz bookending the
week. There’s even a bit of culture,
with a film screening at the Prince
Charles Cinema and a fetish-themed
cabaret at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
Tickets for all events are available now,
so now’s the time to start organising
yourself a seven-day sin-fest.

Red Eye
Why fly all the way to Ibiza for a night of dancefloor escapism when
you could just catch the overground up to Dalston Junction for Red
Eye instead? This monthly party is fast becoming a must-not-miss
for fans of anything that falls within the realm of progressive, melodic,
house or techno — basically, if it’ll get arses shaking and hands in
the air, resident DJs Jesus RedSoul and Cecilia Ena will play it and
play it loud. And who’s that snaking in and out of the crowd? It’s only
Red Eye queens Dramala Tina and Lola McQueen, never ones to be
overlooked or outdanced.
