In many ways, the ultimate in
classical simplicity. Popular since
the 17th century. Chilstone
manufacture a variety of sizes,
with interchangeable bases.
Several ball finials were used as contemporary sculptures in
Chilstone’s silver medal-winning garden at the Chelsea Flower

Ball finials are a versatile garden ornament. They sit well with many
types of architectural style. Often used as finials on gate piers, they
can be used with or without necks (purchased separately). These
modern sculptures can be used to direct the eye to an interesting
plant, or as a principal point in the garden. They can also be used
as a garden feature, as above.
