In 2010, Out Da Sea started
as a place for Emelike
Fountain’s team to relax
after work. Initially, they
would serve fresh seafood
that they caught themselves
and play music; they had
created
an
environment
where people could just let
loose and decompress after
a long workday. In the
decade since, Out Da Sea
has
become
a
Grand
Bahama
staple,
where
Bahamians and visitors alike
can go to relax, enjoy a
delicious seafood meal, and
sip on a cocktail or two.
As the name suggests, the
seafood dishes are all served
fresh, "out da sea" and
utilizes Bahamian crawfish,
conch,
fish
etc.
Since
opening, Out Da Sea's menu
has expanded to include
dishes like cracked conch,
garlic shrimp, garlic butter
baked salmon, fish fingers,
stone crabs, seafood pizza,
conch fritters, as well as
seafood and beef burgers.
The restaurant also has a
stand where patrons can
enjoy fresh conch salad and
tropical drinks.
The colorful exterior, ultra
fresh seafood, and charming
customer
service
has
resulted
in
a
dining
experience
that
visitors
come back to enjoy, again
and again.
