he Bahamian potcake is
a dog that can best be
described
as
being
"mixed up like conch
salad".
They have no particular breed or
pedigree, but they are often the
most lovable pups that you will ever
meet.
Thanks to the hard work of the
Humane Society of Grand Bahama
(HSGB), many potcakes and their
feline friends enjoy the love, care,
and attention that they deserve.
The Humane Society not only helps
to reduce the number of stray dogs
and cats around the island via spay
+ neutering and educational
programs, but they also work to
find their animal friends loving
