Remap OT leaflet2018(online) - Page 4

I am a senior paediatric occupational therapist
at Derbyshire Children’s Hospital. We have used
Remap a lot over the years and have a good
relationship with our local team. If OTs come
across a problem with equipment that they
cannot solve, then we would strongly advise
contacting Remap, as they work together with
the patient and the OTs to come up with a
solution to meet the patient’s needs. SARAH HAZLEDINE

We help people with mobility
Eilian (right) needs to use a three-wheeled rollator
to get out and about, but having an amputation
meant he could not use one safely with one hand.
Our 3D printed solution has got him on the road
We help people with dementia
Doncaster Royal Infirmary wanted some jigsaws
with big, wipeable pieces depicting pictures of
times gone by. Job done! (centre right)
We help people work
Linda (far right) is a singing and piano teacher who
lost the ability to support her wrist at the keyboard.
Her OT Heidi asked Remap if we could make a
wrist support. This has enabled her to get back
to work and enjoying music.
