Welcome to 2023 and our first
Insurance Matters of the year.
2022 was another challenging but successful year for
us at H&H Insurance Brokers. I am delighted to say that
the year ended on a high when we were crowned the
UK’s Independent Insurance Broker of the Year. It was
my honour to attend the awards dinner at London’s
Grosvenor House Hotel in December and pick up the
award from actor and comedian Romesh Ranganathan.
The whole team is incredibly proud of this award as
it reflects our drive to ‘Change the Way People Think
about Insurance’ and to be ‘Your Trusted Advisor.’
As delighted as we are to achieve this national
recognition, we also know that to progress further we
need to continue to improve; we will not rest on our
laurels. To that end, we have launched our annual client
survey where we ask you to answer five questions about
In this edition of Insurance Matters, we want to share
some of the success stories from our many clients who
work in the visitor economy. Businesses within Tourism
and Hospitality face another challenging period over
the next 12 to 18 months, and we understand the
need to get value throughout the supply chain. As an
Independent Broker, we work on your behalf and will
always give you advice specific to your needs.
In 2022 we became a Strategic Partner to Cumbria
Tourism, and you can read more about the fantastic
job they do for their members on page 9.
2023 will no doubt bring new opportunities as well
as further challenges to the whole UK economy,
but hopefully, we will all see things take a turn for
the better as the year progresses.
Finally, I want to take this opportunity to thank you
for your continued trust and support in 2022 and
to wish you all a successful and prosperous 2023.
