ELM Acquisition
We are pleased to announce that we have widened our Group portfolio
with the acquisition of Eden Lettings & Management Limited (EL&M), this
will join forces with our estate agency and lettings teams within H&H Land
& Estates.
This Penrith based property lettings and management company was
established in 2009 by Shirley Thompson and Richard Towler and is now
recognised as the leading specialised property letting and management
company in and around Penrith and the Eden Valley.
With the constant evolution of the letting and management market,
Richard and Shirley decided it was in the long-term interests of EL&M, its
clients, and tenants to merge their business with a company with a broader
outlook. They felt that H&H Land & Estates, with our established expertise,
geographical reach and strong reputation, was the perfect fit to continue the
growth whilst maintaining the traditional standards that they uphold.
Richard Towler is looking to retire and will step away from the letting
sector while Shirley Thompson will use her extensive experience and local
knowledge to lead the lettings business under the umbrella of
H&H Land and Estates in Penrith.
This is a great opportunity for both companies and is one
which is integral to our ongoing growth and commitment
to this important market. Not only does it offer us a natural
progression and expansion in and around the Eden Valley,
but it also gives us the ability to build on the existing
business. We look to provide both existing and new clients
with an enhanced service with greater digital marketing
opportunities and wider geographical coverage.

team for many years now and look forward to working
alongside them.
