HHLE Property Matters Autumn Winter 21 - Flipbook - Page 31
The Last Word…
It only feels like yesterday that I was last writing this column, for our
spring issue in March. At this point in the time we are only eight weeks
off Christmas! We have seen the shackles of lockdown thrown off, the
supposed fuel crisis and a ship stuck in a canal. Closer to home our business
has attended summer agricultural shows, seen staggering auction results,
fabulous new staff appointments, acquired an established lettings business
and witnessed awards for agency teams.

This magazine was published just prior to Borderway Agri-Expo which
is a firm event on many rurally focussed calendars. A great spectacle of
the livestock industry, this time with the H&H Land & Estates seminars. We
pulled together a wide range of speakers to discuss Livestock Trading, Young
Farmers, and the Future of Rural Support Schemes and Grants.
We think it is exceptionally important that rural businesses plan now for
the changes that are about to come, consider their business opportunities
and look to realise them now. In particular, our environmental department is
exceptionally specialised and experienced. That environmental theme is most

the typical UK home costs an average of £23,000 more than it did in the
Our land agency team are delighted with the on-going instructions
from our valued clients. Just lately we were proud to launch the 462 acre
Englishtown Farm and 134 units Northgate Hospital site to the market. This
demonstrates our capability to handle a sale of any size successfully.
We hope you have enjoyed our latest issue of Property Matters and look
forward to seeing you soon!
